The purchaser of said pup
_______________________________ agrees to abide by all terms and
conditions herein.
Southern Belle American Bulldogs has a 24 month
guarantee against crippling canine Hip Dysphasia as long as the dog
has not been bred or used for stud.
1. Pup is to be examined by a veterinarian within
48 hours of delivery or pickup. If said pup is found to be other
than healthy and free from birth defects by the veterinarian the pup
is to be returned to Southern Belle immediately and the pup will be
replaced with another pup of the same sex, age and value as soon as
one is available. Southern Belle reserves the right to have said pup
examined by our veterinarian before the pup is replaced. All
veterinarian paperwork and information will be released to Southern
Belle AB's prior to return of pup.
2. The buyer resumes all responsibility to carry on
with all appropriate vaccinations, exercise and feeding schedule to
keep pup in top physical condition. Buyer also agrees to yearly
examinations, heart worm testing and preventative and all other
procedures necessary to assure good health.
3. Purchaser also agrees that if for any reason you
cannot care for the puppy or dog from Southern Belle the purchaser
will contact us immediately and we will either take the pup or dog
back or assist the owner in placing the dog in a proper home. The
buyer also agrees that said pup or dog will not be taken to a
shelter or pound.
4. Purchaser also agrees to supply Southern Belle
with regular photos and updates of said pup.
5. Southern Belle agrees said pup to have
acceptable hip joint confirmation as determined by OFA or Penn Hip.
If said dogs hips are rejected for OFA or Penn Hip and the dog has
not been bred or studded Southern Belle will replace said dog with
another pup of comparable value from our next available litter.
Replacement pups will be of the same sex as the original pup unless
otherwise agreed to by both the purchaser and breeder and is placed
in writing. Southern Belle must be notified of the OFA or PH results
within 30 days of receipt of the results. OFA or PH rejections and a
written statement from the licensed veterinarian who performed the
x-rays must be sent to Southern Belle. All OFA or Penn Hip x-rays
must have the tattoo or microchip number of the dog posted on them.
The buyer of said dog then has the following options before
receiving a replacement pup...the dog can be returned to Southern
Belle at the buyers expense along with a health certificate, all
shot records and registration paperwork, the dog can be euthanized
or the purchaser has the option to keep the dog as long as the dog
has been spayed or neutered and proof is forwarded to Southern Belle
AB's. If the owner decides to keep the dog or pup and a spay/neuter
is preformed they will receive 1/2 the original purchase price as a
refund.
6. Southern Belle also reserves the right to have a
dog or puppy returned if for any reason the dog is being or has been
neglected or abused.
7. Southern Belle AB's guarantees all pups and dogs
to be genetically sound in temperament at the time of delivery and
for 7 days thereafter. If for any reason you feel a pup or dog is
not sound in temperament you must contact Southern Belle immediately
and a certified trainer must be contacted for an evaluation of the
pup or dog. If the dog is determined by the trainer and Southern
Belle American Bulldogs the pup or dog will be replaced in
accordance to our contract. After the 7 days it will be up to the
new owner to make sure the pup or dog is trained in obedience.
8. Purchaser also agrees that Southern Belle will
follow the dogs name at all times. (example: "Spot of Southern
Belle" or "Southern Belle's Spot")
9. All female pups or dogs sold by Southern Belle
are not to be bred until the age of at least 20 months and if this
is not followed Southern Belle has the right to state the dog has
been abused and the dog will be returned to SBAB.
10. Purchaser also agrees that this contract is
voided if females are bred before the age of 20 months and males at
the age of 16 months.
11. Southern Belle reserves all rights to void or
change our guarantee at any time.
12. This guarantee is for the original purchaser
only and cannot be carried to another owner unless agreed to by
Southern Belle and is placed in writing.
A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required to
hold a puppy from the breeding of your choice, a $400.00 deposit if
the puppy has already been born. If the 1st picks are taken and you
wish to be put on a waiting list please contact us ASAP and we will
contact you as soon as the pups are born. The 1st to place deposits
down will get a pup.
The pup is to be PAID IN FULL, along with the
shipping crate and health certificate by the age of 6 weeks, (unless
other arrangements have been made). Picks will be made at 7 weeks
and pups will be ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks. A
$100.00 discount will be offered to anyone who comes to Southern
Belle Kennels to pick up their pup. We love to meet the new owners
and take pictures.
All shipping is to be paid by the new owner. You can
pick up the pup yourself, use ground transport, or airlines (as long
as it's not to hot to fly).
If some unforeseen occurrence such as, not enough
pups in the litter, the female did not take, or not a pup of the sex
you wanted, your deposit will be applied to the next available
litter.
If for any reason you have a deposit on a pup and
we contact you for further payment and you do not respond within 10
days all rights to the pup and deposit are forfeited up by the
purchaser. Unless an agreement is made in writing by Southern Belle
American Bulldogs.
Any pups sold and not picked up or shipped at the 8
weeks will have a $5.00 a day kennel charge for boarding until the
pup is picked up or shipped.
By signing this contract the buyer understands this
contract and has read and understands our guarantee and also
understands it is binding.
Southern Belle also has the right to deal with our
guarantee and contract on a case by case basis. All terms and
conditions must be met and Southern Belle will make all final
decisions.
