Welcome to Southern
Belle American Bulldogs. We are a small kennel located on a farm
in Northeastern VA.
Ever since I was a little girl I was on
the search for the perfect dog. I wanted a dog who was going to stick
by my side, respect me and had tons of affection. When I married my
sweetheart he always talked about his favorite dog growing up in
Summerville GA. She, "Sandy" was an American Bulldog. She was full of
love and dedication for his large family of eight children. Always by
their sides, playing football and even protecting them when needed. All
his dear stories always seemed to have her in them. So I decided then
to give the American Bulldog a chance. In my research of the breed I
fell in love and bought my first American Bulldog, Dozer. I have never
looked back. I will always have these wonderful members in our family.
Every American Bulldog that comes into our home is part of our whole
circle.
We are here to produce
loving members to your family too. Our dogs are highly socialized,
they run with our 7 small children everyday. They are happy, full
of life, with an eagerness to please, always willing to protect and love.
We specialize in the
Bully Johnson type. Strong, solid, compact with large heads, short muzzles and eye
catching rock solid chest.
Just as our dogs are very special to us
so our their puppies. It is always heart breaking to see them go, but
rewarding to see their new families and the excitement they have for
these phenomenal dogs.
We ask that everyone who buys a dog or
puppy from us signs a purchase contract. We will also ask a lot of
questions. We want the best for both the prospective owner and our
pups.
We would like to thank all our dear
friends who have helped us along the way. Those who have had tender
hearts and compassion, those who have been full of endless information.
Those who love our dogs and pups and keep us updated on photos and
stories.
